Jordi Geuens was born in 1985 in Antwerp, Belgium and has been touched by the magic of making music -- in particular playing the drums -- for as long as he can remember.
He studied at CODARTS in Rotterdam with Juan van Emmerloot, Hans Eijkenaar and Joost van Schaik.
Jordi has been a very active session player since his graduation, playing all kinds of music, both in studio and live on stage. He performed with a wide variety of artists like Postmen, Paul Michiels, Kate Ryan, Chaka khan, Natalia, Jef Neve, Soulsister, RZLZ, Cargo Mas, Edsilia Rombley and many more
In 2010 he started touring internationally with Belgian singer-songwriter phenomenon Selah Sue, playing a lot of festivals and club shows through Europe, USA/Canada, Japan & South-America.
Besides his session work, Jordi started working together with Carlo de Wijs resulting in the “New Hammond Sound Project”, where he not only acts as a drummer but also as a producer.
